Things are good here at BigStuff and we’ve had a frantic first five months of the year… I know time flies eh?!
So we decided it’s time again for a day out for the team and we’re off to Meon Springs, in the heart of the Meon Valley, for a day of clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing. We did the shooting a few years back for Christmas and everyone had a great time. You get a bit of tuition followed by a competition, nothing too competitive, of course!
This year, we’re going in June to take advantage of the (ahem!) great British summer weather and the amazing lakes they have there and turn our hands to a spot of fly fishing with a nice little barbecue in-between to break the day up. Meon Springs is a beautiful spot with funny and very patient instructors, which helps the day go really well… It’s also very close to the Thomas Lord pub so when all else fails you can get stuck into the local ales!
Watch this space for the results of the day…
