Throughout the working year we have to constantly monitor our working methods and have periodic training to ensure we not only do a good job in the workshop but also when were out and about in the great outdoors.
By doing this means we can be a member of special clubs and these clubs are CHAS and SAFECONTRACTOR. They’re pretty important to us because them letting us join their club means we’re SAFE n SOUND.
Part of our training is that we need to know how to administer First Aid if required and yesterday was the day.
Clive Orchard who’s a bit of a Guru when it comes to First Aid was our teacher for the day, and let me tell you… he was great! Learning is so much easier when its fun along the way and we learned so much. The techniques have changed quite a bit over the last 3 years.
It also really opened all of our eyes as to how important these nuggets of information are. A lot is common sense, but if you could help anyone if they needed it, surely that can only be great thing?
Why is this not taught in schools rather than some of the cr*p they do teach? Surely this is a life lesson everyone should be taught?
